So, it's been a few months now since we rang in the new year and I have to say it wasn't so hard after all. My resolutions have been put into motion, change has happened and I'm way past acceptance now. Acceptance who? That's right! I finally feel like I am on the right road for a change and if your not there yet, don't give up, you'll get there soon. Just because January has come and gone you can start again anytime you want to. You have to decide. Tomorrow is a new day. Successful people make mistakes, but they always keep moving and never quit!
Yes, I am singing a new tune these days. Things I use to think I had to have to be happy aren't so very important now. They were just things, stuff. More work and stress than I was meant to have apparently. I have learned to let go and like magic, new doors are opening before my eyes. New opportunities present themselves only when you are willing to truly see. I am enjoying watching my children grow up, while they are still children, instead of always missing out. Being a positive role model has changed them too. They see that they can be whatever they want to be if they work hard.
There are no coincidences, things do happen for a reason. You are shown people and opportunities when the time is right I guess. So far, I am enjoying meeting new people from all walks of life and taking in the experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to inspire those who need it. Helping others without expectation of what they can do for you is what it's all about. You get what you put out there. Surround yourself with like minded people who will inspire, push, challenge and encourage you. Explore what your weaknesses are so you can find your strengths. Set goals and look at them often. Doing these things has proven to me that anything is possible. I have found my true calling(s) and really living it and I know this is only the beginning of what's to come. So, in the spirit of moving on, I think I am saying so long to this blog and starting a new, bright and shiny one. To be continued....
